Dear Sirs, I have had a chronic cough for quite some time. When I speak I have to cough about once or twice every paragraph to continue speaking. It is very embarrassing and causes me to not want to speak.

Chronic cough needs to be evaluated in detail by clinical examination, diagnostic tests such as X RAY chest, CT thorax, sputum examination, bronchoscopy depending on outcome of clinical examination. Treatment depends on diagnosis
