Chronic ischemic changes
Got 2D echo, CT scan of the head and Blood reports done. The reports were normal, but the CT scan of the head report mentions chronic ischemic changes involving Mild confluent hypodensities in bilateral periventicular region. What does it mean? What are the medications to treat it? I have had high blood pressure around 160/90 since last 1 month, but after medication it is around 135-145/90. Thanks in advance

It means small blood clots in brain. You will need to take antiplatelets like Aspirin and cholesterol tablet like atorvastatin for testing this.
