Chronic panic
Hello doctor this is kumaran from Chennai, India. For past a year I have been experiencing some serious panic issues when i meeting with people around me. I also consulted psychiatrist for this chronic illness and he prescribed some medicines. But I don't find any satisfaction with those medicines. Laterally I found out that my mental illness might be a genetic problem. My father had a same problem when he was in age 50s. My symptoms are feeling fatigue all day, stressed out, poor concentration, absent minded, low self esteem, anger. I stated all the symptoms and problems in me and I wanted to be cure these problems without having the medication and should be cured by doing some physical exercises. Awaiting your reply

If you are unwilling to take medications, another option that is available is individual therapy where you can learn about relaxation techniques and how to handle anxiety and stress. However the success of therapy depends entirely on how willingly you are able to apply the principles that are discussed with you and depends on your effort to bring about change in yourself. Good luck!
