Hello, Scaling and polishing is the most common dental procedure done for oral prophylaxis(prevention of oral diseases). It is process of removing the build ups, tar tar, calculus and stains from your teeth. It is done using the ultrasonic machine. Polishing is smoothening of the tooth and root surface after scaling. it should be done every six months. The price depend from what type of facility are getting it done, the amount of builds up and stain, ofcourse more build up/stain means more working time and more charges.
