Clogged ear
From Saturday morning onwards my husband is facing clogged ear issue he used Dewax and cotton ear bud to clean the wax...still he is having clogged ear... left ear little clogged but right ear more and he is also has nose blocking issue he often use otrivin drops...so please suggest for this ear clogged issue...thanks

Hello, the problem is kind of overlapping, the wax in external ear can present as Blocked ear which will require removal. The wax drops are only meant to soften the wax. however, if he has any nasal issues even then, he is likely to get blocked eustachian tube (the tube connecting ear and nose) for which the treatment is different. In any case he will require to see a specialist face to face

He probably may have got fluid jammed in the middle ear, which we call secretory otitis media.
