Cold and fever since 1 day
My daughter is 2.8 years old suffering from raised body temperature varying between 99-99.5 F along with running nose . All her routine activities like playing ,appetite etc are normal . I have given her meftal -p syrup 5ml and saline nasal drops . Kindly suggest any of treatment/investigations .,if necessary .

Give paracetamol if temp is more than 99.4F.... Give cetirizine syp.. Give plenty of liquid orally

Give paracetamol for temperature more than 99.4 deg F. Plenty of warm liquids. Meftal-f Syr is for high temperature more than 101 deg F

Rather than using meftal-p, give paracetamol only preparation if fever touching 99.5f max 4 times a day. Continue with saline drops as needed. Follow up with Pediatrician if symptoms persist.

Probably viral fever U can continue paracetamol syrup 6 hourly Syp maxtra 2.5 ml twice daily for two days
