Cold, conjestion and ear pain
I am suffering from throat infection which led to cold and conjestion. Now i started having pain in my right ear. Please suggest is it a normal symptom or i have some other issue. Regards

Hi. Ear pain during an upper respiratory tract infection is a common symptom. It could either be a 'radiated pain' from the throat, which means that, since the nerves which supply the throat also supply the ear, pain from the throat is often also felt in the ears. Other reason could be blockage of eustachian tube (the tube which connects the back of the nose to the part of ear behind the ear drum) due to the cold.
