Cold n fever
Hello doctor my daughter who s 2 years n 2.... goes to her pg....v leave in Bangalore ...often she use to catch cold n cough tat leads to fever......if fever comes it will raise til 0ne hundred n four...crocin will not response her only meftal p will put her temp down ...I use to take care abt her food , i wont give any fruits ,curd , cover her fully wen v go out(rarely sometimes v use to)still she has to get cold for about once in two months...pls suggest me wat should I do...wats wrong in my side...I ve faced d same problems with my elder son till he was 5 years old...

You should give fruits especially citric fruits is a good source of vitamin C and will help in building immunity. There isn't any restriction on any food as such unless she has a reaction to any of the food. Avoid giving cold food and water, keep her well hydrated at all times as even dehydration will cause increase in increase of temperature. You should do tepid sponging when the temperature increases above 100*F. Keep the room clean, dust regularly and mop the floors, keep allergens such as flowers away from home, clean the A/C filters, dust the fans and keep a humidifier in the room when she gets a cold.
