Can heartbeat of baby be listen at 5 week 1 days sonography. My wife dr done sonography at 5 week 1 days . Should tvs ultrasound was necessary at this stage.

If it is transvaginal scan baby is seen at 5 weeks and fetal heart beat is seen at 6 weeks
