I have a fingernail deep in ear. And I have tried getting it out with a qtip but it feels like I am just putting it deeper

It is very dangerous to use q tips deep inside the canal as it can even cause damage of the ear drum. You should consult nearby ENT specialist so that he confirms presence of foreign body and removes it safely
