My son is 15 months. During night he has severe cough and broken sleep. I doubt it to be GRED OR Acid Influx, rather than normal cough and cold as the coughing regular for a month now and he does not have other symptoms of cold.

Need to examine your child. Is your child having frequent vomit or regurgitation tendency by birth? Hw you can think of Gerd? U can try head up while sleeping, dinner 2 hrs prior to sleep and less liquids at night can help him in case of GERD. But still I advise u to show your pediatrician before reaching any conclusion
