Constant cough
There is a persistent wet cough in the last 10 days. Had seen a doctor in ER and was prescribed with a few antibiotics, they did not help after completing the course for 5 days. Took a chest Xray and the report is normal,i understand from the ER doctor that lungs are clear and is a minor infection. However, the cough is not subsiding.

Hello Ma'am. Very Good evening. I'm Dr.Yogesh Kr Sharma. As per your history given, you are most probably suffering from Acute Bronchitis, which means inflammation of the air ways, and the one of the common symptom is dry or wet cough assosiated with breathlessness, depends upon the severity of the disease. You said you have wet cough and no assosiated breathing difficulty. Ma'am you were treated inappropriately and in the haste. Before the Acute Bronchitis which is the provisional diagnosis for sure developed into breathing difficulty,  godforbid kindly come to practo chat for your treatment part which is incomplete in any manner. Regards.
