Constant fever for my 2 1/2yr old son
From yesterday early morning fever started for him am constantly giving him paracetamol for every 5 hrs... Fever comes every 4 hrs. Today 12am I hv given meftal. We are out of station. And he is also having sevire cold and running nose no cough Please let me know what medicine I should give him... Am very far away from my pediatrician

Give Paracetamol whenever fever occurs. If weight is around 12 kg, then dose of Paracetamol will be around 7 ml (for regular solution of 120 mg/5ml) For cold, you can give Syrup T-minic 3 ml 8-hourly for 3-4 days Monitor temperature at home. It is expected to stay for a couple of days more and then subside gradually Keep watch for symptoms like cough and breathing difficulties
