Constant self conscious thoughts
For the past 2 years I’ve felt like everything I say and do is being judged by others. I worry others will find me boring, weird, or awkward when I speak so I often choose not to say anything. I hate this feeling and I often stay in my room with lights off if I hear my roommates who I know very well outside talking. I can’t smoke weed with them anymore because these thoughts become amplified. I tried smoking yesterday and felt as tho I was on a tv show being judged and that my reality wasnt real

Hello dear, The symptoms mentioned by you have at least two aspects to it- 1. Negative feelings nad emotional state for approximately two years , characterized by low mood, self critical thinking, ideas of being referred to , loneliness, etc. 2. Use of cannabis (weed) the pattern of consumption has not been elucidated by you here. However it has seemingly accentuated your feelings and also led to some unusual experiences. The above two may or may not be linked to one another. However what is amply clear is that you would require a detailed assessment of both. Thereafter a plan to help you can be drawn. In all likelihood you will require some medication and psychological intervention in combination. However please be well assured that your condition can be helped with proper guidance and treatment.
