Constipation
Hello, my kid is struggling for bowel movement. She spends hours in washroom but no sign of stool. Usually there is 3 or less bowel movement in a week. Please help my kid.

Nothing to worry Functional constipation is common in children to prevent it following tips may be helpful- 1.encourage two sitting in toilet with fixed schedule 2.Increase intake of vegetables and fruits 3.increase water intake

watch for blood in stools sometimes analfissure is there which is painfull so child avoid to go washroom

Give syrup lactulose 7.5 ml twice a day. For 10 days. If stools are runny, reduce dose to 5 ml twice a day. Increase water and fiber in diet. Reduce milk intake

Hello! Most of the time it's habitual constipation that gets improved with dietary modification Increase water intake per day Add green leafy vegetables,riped banana ,apple, guava in his diet If taking excessive milk...then reduce that Defecation habit - twice a day
