Constipation in infants
Baby no poop from 10 days..she is 55 days old..her wt is 3.6kg..she was born with 2.8kg..what should I do to make her poop?? Should I consult doctor again? At first I consulted and doctor gave neopeptine drops but no passage of stool yet..should I wait

Hi,Make sure that correct technique of mother feeding is being followed  or check the dilution of formula feed.Please give feed every 2hrs . It's better to visit Doctor again to rule out other associated medical conditions if any. Glycerin rectal suppository 2g(cut it half) at night time for 2 days can be tried at home. Thank you

Can try warm bath, abdominal massage, leg movements, to stimulate bowel movement
