Constipation
My daughter of 16 months has been constipated for 5 months. We have seen many doctors but she still passes hard stools and cires sometimes while passing stool. Different doctors have prescribed different laxatives for example one doctor prescribed Emty oral solution. She passes normal stool only when given medicine. After stopping again her problem starts. Once, she passed blood with a hard stool, that time the doctor said it is coming due to anal fissures. So he prescribed medicine. After applying the medicine blood stopped coming in stool but she continued passing hard stool. One month ago, she vomited 2-3 times, again we consulted a doctor and he presented INDOPEP medicine. After giving this medicine she stopped passing stool for 2-2 days. We stopped that medicine. Now, from one week she is passing blood with a hard stool. We don't know what to do, please suggest.

She will need to take the medicine for a couple of months with high fibre diet and water.
Next Steps
The medicine needs to be weaned off gradually
Health Tips
Some dos and don'ts will have to be kept in mind. Presuming certain other problems have been ruled out like hypothyroidism as that may make it refractory to treatment
