Constrictive Precarditis
I was diagnosed with extra pulmonary TB with Precarditis. I started my TB Medications. After 3 weeks, during the ECOCARDIOGRAM, I am diagnosed with Constrictive Precarditis. I don't know what should I do... I am really tensed and know this is a serious condition.. Will Constrictive Precarditis go away by continuing TB medicine with Prednisone. I don't want to go for surgery as I already had one before when the liquid was removed from precardium... Please suggest if I can consult a Doctor, I am really concerned please.

Hi, continue medications and regular follow up with your doctor. Not everybody needs surgery so continue medications.
