Rt leg polio affected wt 70 kg mild rotation of ankle laterally having problem in walking since6 yrs age 40 yrs earlier walking was very good pain at hip joint on and off swelling in legs pl give suggestion

Approach to a physio and plz get release your muscles like TFL,G.MEDIUS,MAXIMUS,AND MINIMUs, and Quuadratus lumborum bilaterally. ..Along with patellar tendon and quadriceps..
Followed by stretching of calf muscles. .
U will get very much .relief ...

Hello...... Polio is non curable disease and it's slowly progressive.. Physiotherapy is the only way in such condition to enhance the movement.. May be in your case it's progressing..
Next Steps
Get an x ray of hip joint and leg where swelling is there and consult orthopedic surgeon..
