On 1st June my at night while surfing phone my brother had a seizure he was admitted to the hospital MRI(all clear) EEG done doctors told us he can go today but gave us a medication which we have to give to him for 2 years the name of the medicine is CAPRA, we never heard the name of the medicine and we want to know why he have to take the medicine for two years?

Need to see MRI and EEG .. Depending on the cause we will decide duration of antiepileptics .. Medication is right ..don't worry.

It is one of the latest, best drugs with lesser side effects available in the market.. It is advisable to take treatment for seizures for 2 years because it might be dangerous for him if he gets it again..n we don't even know how and when it may come..so,follow the advice to avoid risking life

I think the tablet is Keppra. If MRI is normal, it may be a benign epilepsy. You have to take the medicine for 2 years.
