Am Meeting my husband on June 15 to 17th June, and I intend to have sex... I will b delaying my periods for a week (from 7th to 14th may) using primolut n due to an occasion. I intend to start oral Contraceptives from the day I get periods after that (I. E approx 15th may) Till what time I need to continue ocps-Till 17th June or 15th july to get protection for those 3days?i don't want to continue my ocps after that as I m not meeting him for next 2years....

You can start it on 7th May. Most of the OCP are packed as 21-day or 28-day units. In 28 days unit 21 tablets are hormone pills and rest 7 are irons pill. So, if you buy 2 blisters (28pills OCP) your period will come between 28th may to 2june (during irons pill). Then you will have to start 2nd blister in which hormone pill last till 23rd June.
