Corneal scar
Sir earlier I am suffered with corneal ulcer and it left with corneal scar. But after a year now again the problem is arisen and when the pressure is more applied on my affected eye it gives me pain and the scar goes thichker. So sir please advice me what is the best treatment for this.

hello scar does not get thicker on its own 2. kindly elaborate your symptoms. 3. kindly send your medical reports if possible

Three types of corneal ulcer bacterial, fungal,viral&mixed type,there's superficial corneal scar in viral infection & deeper corneal scar in fungal & bacterial infection, recurrence is very common in viral.There in no medical treatment for corneal scar but with lamellar keratoplasty corneal scar can be removed in higher eye centers where there is eye bank facility

. If it was a viral keratitis and you have pain photophobia and decrease in vision. You may need treatment again.i would advise you to get examined by corneal surgeon to rule out reactivation0
