My father 62 yr detected 70% blockage in one of the artierary during angiography test. Doctor has suggested for stent . i want to understand
1. what is life of stent.
2. If it is displaced from the desired position then new stent to used ?
3.What will happen to older one.
4. Any natural alternative of stent ?

Stent once implanted stays life long, and can not be displaced from position ever. If if doctor wants, he also can not displace the stent
