Cough and cold in pregnancy
I am 4 months pregnant and since 2 months I had nose block and cold and my doctor had given me alerid SOS and now since 3 days I am having cough with mucus (white) . I take steam inhalation twice a day and warm saline gargle at bedtime. I am not able to sleep due to congestion in nose as well as cough.please suggest me some medications or remedies.

Continue steam inhalation. It is best for you. Also take a tab N-Acetyl cystein for 3 to 5 days once in the morning  with a gap of 20-30 mins from meal. Tab esmoprazole 40 mg before breakfast x 3 days Drink plenty of water.
