Cough and fever
My baby is 6.5 months old weight 8kg suffering from cold and slight fever. Nose block and irritability. Can I give maxtra drops and pyregesic drops together??? How much quantity???

Hi,Please give normal saline nasal drops, If fever can give paracetamol drops. Tq

Fever is created by the body to fight viruses and bacteria. Slight fever should not be treated with medicines. Do sponging with lukewarm water. Maxtra is not recommended at this age due to side effects and no known benefit. There are other safer medicines. Consult directly with a pediatrician
