Cough and intense throat pain
I have been having Cough and throat pain for more than 15 days now. Although I have dry cough, the throat pain comes and goes. Pain will not there much in the morning time, but as the time passes esp. in the evening and night it will grow so much so that I can't even swallow my saliva let alone food item. Earlier, before getting cough and cold I would have throat pain as a symptom but it would disappear after 2-3 days, but this time around it simply doesn't show any sign of going.

You seem to be suffering from acute pharyngo-tonsillitis which is a common type of throat infection in this season. You may need to take antibiotics and painkillers along with antiseptic mouth gargle for few days for faster recovery
Next Steps
Consult nearby ENT specialist for confirmation of diagnosis and appropriate treatment if required.
