Cough lasting 8 months
I have had a cough for about 8 months now, no mucus.. it's a dry cough and it hurts. It seems like it is getting worse. It is starting to get to the point of after I cough it takes a little bit for me to regain my composure.

Cough lasting for 8 months needs to be evaluated further with several tests such as X RAY chest, CT thorax, sputum examination, pulmonary function tests, allergy testing etc. Treatment depends on identifying cause for your problem
