Cough with mucus
My 5 month old son having cough with mucus since 4 days. Cough has gone with prescribed medicine by paediatrician .giving nebulizer for 3 days as prescribed by doctor. Cough has gone but mucus still having.plz suggest some.

Just give steam inhalations for cold and cough and decongestant nasal drops for nasal block or increased cough on lying down.
Use paracetamol for fever if required.
If not improving OR accompanied by accompanied by other symptoms like wheezing or breathlessness or dullness and refusal to feed,consult your paediatrician for physical examination and treatment.
