Coughing and chocking of vocal cords
My 85 years old Grandpa is having large amount of cough due to which he is not able to speak anything and while he is breathing we can hear the clear voice of the coughing in lungs and chocking of the vocal cords. Doctor hospitalized him in ICU for one night and in the morning doctor told to take him back at home as there is no chance seeing of his healing or curing. we took him back at home and on next day he is looking little better..Please help if there is anything we can do?

Without knowing actual diagnosis it is very difficult to advise regarding any treatment. You need to consult nearby pulmonologist for detailed evaluation of his lungs and further treatment
