Coughing spells
My dad renovates homes and businesses for a living, the past few months he has been coughing and wheezing substantially. Cough spells for 3-5 minutes at a time throughout the day. We were thinking it is from being exposed to drywall and other building materials. He wears a mask. Is there anything he can do to help the cough?

He might have developed hypersensitivity due to exposure to the dust and paints.take anti allergic tablet and syrup for dry cough.visit an ENT specialist for proper assessment.
