Could vitamin C cause itchy sores?
Upon returning from a 10-day trip, I noticed upon leaving the plane some itchy eruptions on my right arm, upper chest/neck, my fingers/hands and left foot. The eruptions looked like tiny pinpoint sores (sometimes clustered in 2, 3 or 4) with a red hallow. The next morning, I found 100 of these very itchy spots in the same areas mentioned above. The intense itch went on for 8 days. No bedbugs or insects were found. I was supplementing with a new vitamin C spray, multiple times/day.
