Covid Doubt
Hi Doctor. I need few understanding regarding covid, one of collegue came in touch with a covid +ve patient so he was asked for testing, so 1st antigen test came as a +ve. And he is waiting for another result RT-PCR. He don't have any symptoms till now, its been 2 days from last contact. He is currently in isolated. Rapid antigen is not accurate.false positives and false negative chances r more.  Rt pcr is more reliable and accurate. N yes the pcr result may come -ve. Symptoms usually appear after 5-7 days of contact. So be cautious n isolated. But need not panic.
