Covid positive lactating mother
Hi my husband , father in law and brother in law has been tested covid positive. I have a 5 month old baby who is exclusively breastfed. Becz of some problem couldn't get the test done but have symptoms of sore throat and cough so i asked the doctor and he said to start the medicines, i took azithromycin, paracetamol, vit c and zinc tablets but after 5 days still having some cough. Which cough syrup is safe for the baby as he is breastfed. My doctor adviced grillinctus cough syrup and N acetyl cysteine tablets twice daily. Is it safe for me to take and not affecting the baby in any ways.if not what other medicine can i take for sore throat and cough

Do hot saline / betadine liquid gargles presently no need to take grilinctus & other steam inhalation
