Covid retest after 14 days is positive
My brother is in home isolation for last 15 days and his symptoms have recovered almost completely except for mild wet cough and reduced sense of smell. We did a RT PCR test after 14 days but it still yielded positive result. Is it because of the cough or he can still transmit the virus. What should be the further course of action regarding his isolation and should we go for rapid antigen or antibody test instead of RT PCR ?

RT pcr will detect even if the virus is dead, but patient cannot transmit the virus as it ll be ineffective in terms of virulence. You go for test only if you have symptoms. Otherwise it is not required..
Next Steps
watch for symptoms like fever or breathlessness.
Health Tips
better to be isolated for 7days more.
