My father aged 70 is taking blood thinner tablet for couple of years now. Hy also having diabetic abd blood pressure.
Can he take Covid vaccine now ? Is it safe for those people taking such blood thinner medicine??
Can you please clarify me??

CoViD vaccine is a intramuscular injection. You will have to stop blood thinner for at least 5 days before the shot. Company is also not recommending.
If blood thinner medication is a must then you will have to shift to other short acting anticoagulant and bridge.
