Creatinine level 2.6
Hello all, My father was diagnosed with heart failure on 18th and was admitted in Narayana for a week . The doctors were not able to perform the angiogram as his creatinine level was high (1.9 increasing to 2.0 & 2.1). They discharged him on 25th with oral medications prescribed to help bring down the creatinine and to manage the heart condition and lung congestion . They asked us to check every couple of days to monitor the creatinine level and to re admit him once it comes down to 1.5 we had his creatinine tested yesterday(27th) and the results show an increase to 2.6( it was constant at 2.1 for more than 72 hours up to 25th) Please suggest the course of action here . Any suggestion will be helpful Thank you all in advance

Hello.... Since the kidney was already weak and he developed a cardiac condition caused it become further weak. It may take some time for it to revert to its previous value. Thedosage of diuretic may need to be adjusted according to his clinical condition.
