Crown for dental implant
Dear doctor, I had visited a dentist for crown replacement of the front canine tooth because it was too big and obstructive. The doctor however said an implant replacement will be needed. On paying 30k for the implant the crown which the dentist put is still causing discomfort as my tongue continually gets in touch with it and causes salivation which escapes with a sound from the gap between the crown and molar. Kindly help if I could get a tooth crown that won't cause this problem!!     Also the back of the crown is metallic and bulgy. I am told nothing can be done and even non metallic crown will causes this problem. Doctors please advise

The type of crown u have seems like a cement retained crown. That's y its bulky and has space between itself and adjacent tooth . Pls ask your dentist to give u a screw retained crown instead.
Next Steps
Goto your dentist and ask for a screw reatained crown
Health Tips
Pls get it treated by a prosthodontist.

It usually takes 2-3 days for one to get used to having a new crown. But can take longer sometimes. If the do scomfort does not settle in 3-4 days, kindly visit your dentist to check any high plots or any other reason that might be causing the problem.

Metal facing ceramic crowns are slightly bulkier,  go for zirconia and  consult  for second opinion.

As the natural tooth was big and obstructive not much adjustment can be made for the replacing teeth. You can always ask the dentist to place a smaller crown Also any replacement takes time. You will feel uncomfortable in the evening but gradually you will get used to it and the discomfort will reduce. Wait for about 10 days if the crown is recently placed. If incase you have this discomfort even after 10days visit your dentist
