Crying while passing gas and the habit of delayed frequency of stools  may be due to faulty feeding.. so please specify what type of feeds the baby is on.. usually formula feeds predispose for constipation.. also .. hard impacted stools will need to be helped in evacuation. Also need to rule out any painful anal conditions like fissures so medical consult advised..
Next Steps
Regular burping after feeds and timely feeds to prevent excessive cry and causing aerophagia  to be practiced
Health Tips
Breastfeeding instead of formula... stool softener as medically indicated.

If the child is not passing stools daily and if the stools are hard, look for any cut in anal region. Better show to a doctor.
