Hi. You can visit a dental clinic to get it made. Also, the material - soft or hard should be determined by the dentist. Usually for tmj pain a hard splint is made. A soft nightguard is given for bruxism. Kindly visit a dentist preferably an Orthodontist/prosthodontist/ oral medicine & radiologist for a thorough evaluation and then get an appliance made.

For tmj disorder a hard splint is usually recommended .tmj disorder in itself is very broad term and includes a plethora of possible diagnosis. Let the dentist decide the diagnosis and treatment plan. An orthodontist and a prosthodontist deal with tmj disorders. An oral radiologist may be required to get the right diagnosis.
