Cut wound on back of head
Hello Doctor,
My wife got slipped from bed corner and hit her head on a wooden wardrobe. It was bleeding for few mins but after washing head for sometime with cold water bleeding stopped.
I have done first aid (washed the cut wound with dettol solution, applied T-back ointment and pasted gauze on wound).
She also took one Aldigesic P tablet for pain relief.
Please suggest if she needs a tetvac injection or any other treatment required.
I am trying to avoid hospital/clinic visit due to covid pandemic, untill absolutely necessary.
I am attaching pic of the cut wound for reference.
Please suggest next steps required.
