Hello
CXL aka corneal cross-linking procedure is most commonly offered to patients diagnosed with keratoconus( progressive) to prevent cornea from further thinning. CXL per se is not meant to reduce the number one may have. 3 months after the procedure one is given rigid gas permeable contact lenses for better vision or Can be combined with other procedures like intacs /PRK to correct the vision.Takes 60-90 mins f time. Cost varies from 20- 30k per eye . Please get evaluated by a cornea specialist .
