This is not effective treatment for cystic acne. If we don't treat the acne properly, you will develop scarring or marks which will require laser resurfacing treatment. Please don't wait this to happen. Please send photos using online consult option for proper examination diagnosis and treatment advice

Acne or pimples... Due to hormonal changes..Oily skin causes it...Common in adolescent age...May occur in adults also.. Food like Oily foods, ice cream, chocolate and sweets increase it.. Treatment depends on the grade of pimples or acne..So, please consult me in my clinic or consult me by direct online consultation by sending photos as it's a must to see which grade of pimples or acne for accurate diagnosis and treatment
just topical treatment wont be enough for severe cases. The treatment has to be continued for a few months otherwise the pimples would tend to return easily. Kindly do not self medicate without professional advice as that could further damage your skin. You should send me images through private online consult for a better assessment of the problem and approaching it accordingly. Hope this is helpful.

Only doxycycline or topical creams won't be enough if you have multiple cystic acne.intralesional steroid can help you for faster remission.there are other oral agents also which can be more beneficial for acne.please send me a clear picture along with proper history for any further management on my personal online consult.
