If i wana do d&c after 10 days of medical abortion will it be very painful? im already got just 10 days back from severe pain i m very much afraid of that please suggest me and will be anesthesia given wat type of anesthesia if yes ? HOW MANY DAYS TO STAY IN HOSP?

Hi. Do Ultrasound after 14 daysof medical abortion. If endometrial thickness is more than 10 mm , then u need d& c. Its done under gen Anaesthetics. Its not painful if done in gen Anaesthetics.

D&C procedure is not painful as it is done under total intravenous anaesthesia, I.e you will be given drugs that will put you to sleep for a short time.
The procedure takes hardly 15 min and you will be discharged the same day.
