There are other treatment options available besides ketoconazole. A clear picture is needed for diagnosis and treatment. Avoid picking your scalp as that can lead to infection. Avoid hair oil. Consult online with pictures for treatment

Hi I would like to know the type of scales whether it’s fine or coarse. It looks like you have patches on the scalp. Kindly share a picture for better diagnosis
Next Steps
Share a picture and direct consult with me for further management
Health Tips
Avoid scraping of the patches. If the scales are thick ketoconazole may not be effective.
