Dark blue coloured veins in both legs
My mother has started feeling dark blue coloured veins in both legs. To whom(specialist) should i consult for treatment. She is also having slight pain in both knees. metatarsal bone of big toe has also swollen which looks bulgy. Kindly suggest. I have attached images of both concerns

Usually the veins are blue which s normal because it carries deoxygenated blood But it becomes prominent due to less subcutaneous fat

Her bulging veins could be due to chronic venous insufficiency or vascular disease or deep vein thrombosis which can be resolved by medicines if treated early . Her toe pain is not related to the veins, it could be due to high uric acid levels in blood, this also can be resolved by medicines if started in time.....
