Dark brown spotting in 7th week
I had dark brown spotting yesterday. its my 7th week. I got a transvaginal scan done yesterday and the scan showed that everything is normal. I was also shown the heartbeat of the foetus in the scan. Doctor said that dark brown spotting is not an issue. Today also I am having the dark brown spotting. Hope theres nothing to worry about. Please suggest.

Dark brown is usually a collected blood coming out ...and is not fresh bleeding.
As u r 7 weeks it could be an implantation bleed or a subchorionic bleed.
U should start on progesterone support and could take a short course of tranexamic acid to stop the bleeding.
Kindly consult your doc for the same.

Donot worry if in transvaginal scan everything is fine means it is collected blood.Ay be small subchorionic collection that is coming out.Progesterone support is compulsory and bed rest for sometime.
