Dark penis region
Hi,
So the skin around my penis is awfully darker compared to the rest of my body. The change started happening about a year ago. I'm a 21 year old male, type 1 diabetic. Last year, I neglected my diabetes management for about 3-4 months which resulted in bad reports. I'm guessing this is the reason I got a dark skim down there. However, after that I've been following a strict route to manage my diabetes. Could you tell me a solution or provide me with all the options to treat this?

Yes you may have developed Acanthosis nigricans which is common in diabetics and is due to insulin resistance which makes the underarms, face, joints and groin dark. Please call me or send photos using online consult option for proper examination diagnosis and treatment advice.
