Day flaky scalp
Hi Doctor,
I have a very very dry scalp and lots of flakes.. Plz suggest what should I do to get rid of this. I shaved my head and I clearly see a layer of white dry scalp and it is very embarrassing. I am. Using kz lotion kenzsal but not a good result till now. I applied 4 to 5 times in two weeks.

Dandruff can be treated with lotions and shampoo (not commercial ones). Some people do have more oily scalp which cause visible flakes which we call dandruff. There are some other conditions also which can present like flaking of the scalp and have to be ruled out. Do not apply oil on scalp as it will increase the problem.
