De quervain's tenosynovitis
Severe pain near the wrist and thumb and slight swelling... Prescribed altraday for 10 days but no improvement... Pain is quite severe and not able to use the hand much...Kindly advise..

This may be dequeverians tenosynovitis. Thumb spica splint Ice Antiinflammatory medicine No twisting or turning activities No typing or less use of phones If no improvement in 3 months then consider steroid injection

You can get a local injection of triamcinolone if medications are not providing relief
