Deep muscle pain or not?
I've had a mostly deep chest pain for a couple of years now. The area of pain would be under the left chest area. It started off quite sore, like a sharp sting, at worse 6/10. Got my heart checked out and it was fine. The doctor put it down to deep muscle pain which can take a long time to heal, given I'm a smoker with a smokers cough from time to time, it may take longer. 3 years later and the pain is much better 2/10. It can be more/less painful depending on sitting position.
